We are back in Kigali for the second entrepreneur workshop in a series called "Creating A Bigger Future." Over 50 Rwandese entrepreneurs are registered for the all-day program on April 28.
We have a series of meetings this week leading up to an informal networking coffee on the evening of April 27. There is much activity in Rwanda these days, and many people to catch up with.
During the workshop on Wednesday we will review our 90-day plans from January, discuss what is working and what isn't, and develop our plan for the next 90 days. In addition, we will discuss a couple of new concepts from The Strategic Coach called "The Gap" (how to manage through when your reality doesn't match your vision) and "The Strategy Circle" (how to use a detailed diagnosis of a business problem as the ingredients for a strategy to solve it).
In the afternoon when we typcially present two practical business skill modules, David Helmer will be discussing leadership and Bruce King will be doing an interactive session on practical financial tools for small businesses. Then on Thursday morning, participants will have the option of signing up for a 30-minute one-on-one with us to discuss leadership, strategic planning, or finances and operations.
As usual, it's a beautiful week in Kigali. Sun is shining, temperatures in the low 80s, air is dry...
